Participants will be
assigned by chance to
one of two study groups:
FIT or COLONOSCOPY
FIT
- Complete a FIT once a year for up to 6 years
- If the FIT finds blood in the stool, participants will be recommended to have a colonoscopy
to determine the cause of the blood and will no longer be asked to complete a yearly FIT - Complete a 30 minutes-or-less survey annually for 5 years
COLONOSCOPY
- Undergo a colonoscopy
- Any further follow-up will be recommended by your physician
- Complete a 30 minutes-or-less survey annually for 5 years
